Getting to WHZOA

The festival grounds are located between the villages of Weihenzell and Petersdorf near Ansbach in Middle Franconia. Whether you come by car, train or with friends: here's how to get there stress-free.

By car

Take the A6 to Ansbach and from there follow the yellow WHZOA signs. Don't follow your navigation system for the last few kilometres: the access roads are diverted during the festival, and our stewards will guide you to the car parks.

Please don't park in the villages or on field paths. Vehicles parked there will be towed.

By train & shuttle

The nearest major station is Ansbach. During the festival, shuttle buses run regularly between Ansbach station and the festival grounds. Current departure times are available in the app and on our news page.

Carpooling

Fewer cars mean shorter queues at the entrance and less traffic for our neighbours. Find people to travel with in the carpooling channel on our Discord.

Departure

On departure day, please follow the instructions of our stewards. Only switch on your navigation system once you have passed the last road barriers in Frankendorf, Grüb or Röshof. Before you leave: take your trash with you and make sure you are fit to drive.
